Voice input is about to change how people use computers. We're processing millions of transcriptions for developers, writers, and teams at some of the largest tech companies. 100% on-device, nothing sent to the cloud.

Superwhisper is Mac-only today. We want to bring it to Android. You'd be building it from scratch, with full ownership over architecture and design decisions.

The job

Build Superwhisper for Android from the ground up
Run ML models on-device with the same speed and quality we have on Mac
Figure out the UX for system-wide voice input on Android
Work directly with our team on product decisions

Requirements

3+ years building Android apps. Kotlin, not just Java.
You've shipped something to the Play Store that people actually use
Experience with on-device ML, or eager to learn
You care about performance and polish

Bonus

Experience with audio processing or speech recognition
You've worked with TensorFlow Lite or similar on-device ML frameworks
Accessibility or input method experience
