Taking meeting summary notes with superwhisper is easy- it has been built right into the application and only takes a couple steps to enable.
First, open the settings menu by clicking on the icon in the menu bar, and selecting "Settings..."
On the Modes tab, click the "Create mode" button and then select "Meeting".
This will create a new mode called "Meeting" and open the mode settings.
By default, the "Meeting" mode will use a prompt that will summarize the notes. Feel free to change the prompt to better fit your needs.
It will also have "System Audio" enabled, which will allow you to record the audio of the meeting.
In the image below you can see the recommended models configured:
These will ensure that the notes are transcribed quickly and summarized with lots of detail and context.
You can change the models to any other model that you have access to. But these are recommended for the best results.
You can also configure the app to automatically use the "Meeting" mode when you are using an application like Zoom, or a site like Google Meets.
Look for the Active when using option in the settings menu and then select the application or website you want to use.
If you want to see the summary notes in a specific format, you can use the Prompt option in the Mode settings to change the format.
For example if you want to see the summary notes in a minutes and action items format, you can use the following prompt:
The user message is a transcript from a meeting. Summarize it into a minutes and action items format. The result should look like this: # Summary Daily sync meeting with the team. ## Minutes: - Discussed the project - Proposal to use new tools - Investigation of bug found within the billing system ## Action items: - Move ahead with billing system audit - Start investigation of new tooling and consult with rest of team
