Key differences
Voibe and Superwhisper are close on the core idea: hold a key, talk, get text in any app. The gaps are platforms, language coverage, and pricing structure.

Key differences
Platforms
Voibe runs on Mac (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows. Superwhisper also has iOS and Android apps, and one Pro license covers all your devices. If you dictate on your phone, that's the deciding point.
Languages
Voibe lists English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Polish, and Russian. Superwhisper supports 100+ languages. For anyone dictating in a language outside Voibe's seven, Superwhisper is the only option of the two.
Offline support and privacy
Voibe can run fully on-device on Apple Silicon Macs, and it says its cloud mode uses zero-retention providers and deletes audio once it's transcribed. Its Windows version needs an internet connection.
Superwhisper runs local models on macOS, Windows, and iPhone, so audio stays on your device when you choose them. Cloud models are optional, and Android uses cloud models only. Recordings are saved locally by default, with auto-delete available.
Customization
Superwhisper has built-in modes and lets you write your own with custom prompts, so the same dictation can come out as a polished email in one app and raw text in another. Voibe offers custom vocabulary, spoken punctuation, and text shortcuts for boilerplate, which cover less ground than prompt-based modes.
Pricing
Both have a free tier that doesn't expire. Superwhisper Pro is $8.49 a month, $84.99 a year, or $249.99 for a lifetime license. Voibe Dictation is $9.90 a month, $99 a year, or $199 lifetime, and its Work plan with meeting notes costs more. Voibe's lifetime dictation price is lower than ours.
Where Voibe does well
Voibe's Work plan adds bot-free meeting notes with summaries on Mac, and its lifetime dictation license is $50 cheaper.

Guillermo Rauch
Superwhisper delivers on the dream of an AI-native operating system. The best part: it's insanely fast and does just what you expect.

Pieter Levels
Tried @superwhisperapp today. Very nice. Lets me talk to Cursor and then it codes for me, just gets it right.
